For each congregation, only one account needs to be created for one brother who will serve as the administrator. This one, will create the connections for the specific purpose, for example, "Memorial Invitation Campaign."
When the connection is created, a phone number request will be generated and automatically sent to the Khall Connect website administrator. This phone number will be the virtual number that will switch calls or messages, and transfer them.
While the number is being managed, the local account administrator will be able to create the list of members who will participate in answering the calls and messages at the specific time when they will be available. This global list can be used for any other connection created in the future.
Then the local administrator will edit the connection by programming the calendar with the available schedules of the members, using the Khall Connect call scheduler.
Once the phone number has been assigned by the Khall Connect website administrator, then your connection will be available for immediate use.
Each account comes with $1.00 of balance to test and start receiving calls and messages.
Then, when someone interested calls this phone number, the system's intelligent algorithm detects which members are available and automatically transfers them.
In addition, if there is more than one member available at that time of incoming call, the system will randomly choose and redirect the call to any of them, but you also have the option to configure tha all of members who are available receive the call, all they at the same time. In this case, the first one to take the call will automatically hang up the others.
If there are no available members at the time someone makes a call, then the Khall Connect answering machine will answer.
The answering machine can be configured by the account administrator in the following parameters: Message, Language, and Voice Gender. From Khall Connect technology, you can also record a human voice that serves as the answering machine's voice or even upload a previously recorded audio file from an external device.
The player system supports many formats, such as .wav, .mp3, .mp4, etc.
5- Edit the connection. (Panel 1)
A- Set the answering method in case there are no available members when a call is received. The answering machine can be an electronic voice, reading a text you write, or it can be through your recorded voice. You can record it directly from Khall Connect or upload a recorded file from another device.
B- Set the SMS message to reply automatically when someone writes a SMS to the virtual number.
C- Configure how you want the calls to be transferred, if to all available members at the same time, or just one member at random.
D- Set whether you want the caller's number or just the Kingdom Hall virtual number displayed when the call is received for the members. (Panel 2)
A- Set up the calendar for each day of the week, with its hours in which there will be somebody available to receive calls and answer them.
B- Select the day of the week, start time, and the time until the member will be available, and the name who will attend the calls. (You will need to have created the member list previously). https://www.khallconnect.org/en/connections/
Once your phone number has been connected, you'll receive a message from the Khall Connect administrator, and you'll are ready to receive calls and messages.
Once the virtual number is connected, you can receive calls immediately.
Each account comes with $1.00 of balance to test and start receiving calls and messages.
This number can even be registered directly by elders on the jw.org site as the official phone number for the Kingdom Hall.
When an interested person dials to this number, Khall Connect will instantly make a connection and transfer the call to the members who are previously assigned from the Khall Connect calendar.
There can be one or more members on the same schedule without any problem. The administrator can schedule the call to be directed to a single member, at random, from among those available.
Also, he can be programmed all the telephones to ring simultaneously at the same time. In this case, whoever takes the call first will cause the other phones to hang up. Khall Connect supports up to 10 phones ringing at the same time.
The administrator can program that the publishers, when receiving the call, can see the number of who is calling. However, it has been more practical for the administrator to schedule the callers to see the virtual number of the congregation. If the brothers have registered the number as "Kingdom Hall" or something similar, then when they receive the call, they will see "Kingdom Hall". This is a good choice because they will know that it is not an unwanted or spam call but from someone interested.
For now, while a conversation is in progress, if someone else calls, it will sound busy. An update is coming in the future that will allow multiple calls to be answered simultaneously.
If you want to obtain the caller's information, you can ask the administrator(s) for the information. Also, the administrators could send a special link, which allows the members can consult the calls of the last seven days.
Important Note
It is crucial that the brothers who participate in receiving calls always have the telephone on and with coverage, Otherwise, when the call is transferred, it will automatically go to the voice mailbox of the phone that is switched off or out of range. This is a bug, which has not been solved from the platform that provides the telephone service.
Once the virtual number is connected, you can receive messages immediately.
Each account comes with $1.00 of balance to test and start receiving calls and messages.
The virtual number can even be registered directly by elders on the jw.org site as the official phone number for the Kingdom Hall.
When an interested person sends a text message to this number, Khall Connect will automatically send a text message to the person who sent the SMS and another to the brother previously assigned from the Khall Connect calendar.
Unlike calls, messages are only sent to a single publisher of your "Member List." If several members are on the same schedule, then Khall Connect will randomly pick any of them and send the message.
The brother who receives the message, will be able to see the telephone number of the person who wrote the message, and important: to reply it, he or she must use their personal number and not the virtual number.
The person sending the message will receive a backup reply message, which can be configured from the Connections Editor. The messages support links. This is useful when there is a special preaching campaign, and then you could link to a video or the www.jw.org site link.
If the administrator does not define a backup message, the system will automatically respond with the following: " Hello, thank you very much for writing. A brother or sister will contact you from their personal phone. We also encourage you to visit our official website: https://www.jw.org/en "
